ROAD TANKER REFURBISHMENT
Refurbishment can range from cosmetics to a full strip down and equipment replacement. This may be required when
- Used equipment is structurally sound however tired requiring a refresh.
- Purchasing used equipment which requires rebranding and equipment installation
- Rehorsing.

ROAD TANKER REHORSING – FUEL, OIL, WATER, FREIGHT, BITUMEN AND VACUUM
ROAD TANKER REHORSING
Rehorsing is when a road tanker barrel is removed from a rigid chassis or trailer chassis and installed onto another chassis. This can be cost effective if the chassis is no longer serviceable while the barrel has remained in good condition which can occur with aluminium and stainless-steel barrels.
Our heavy workshop and factory can complete this work.
- Integration of the barrel onto another rigid chassis including the fabrication of an interfacing ladder frame.
- Trailer chassis are remanufactured in our OEM factory.
- Engineering certification for all builds.
ROAD TANKER REPURPOSING – FUEL, OIL, WATER, FREIGHT, BITUMEN AND VACUUM
ROAD TANKER REPURPOSING
Road tankers can also be repurposed for applications which they were not intended for. This requires the installation of equipment such as power packs, pumping systems and tipping systems.
In this example a milk tanker was refurbished and repurposed into a bulk waste tanker fitted with a bulk pump and power pack.
