ATE services and repairs all OEM brands and tanker types.
Serviced tanker types include fuel tankers, waste oil and tallow tankers, vacuum tankers, bitumen tankers, emulsion tankers and dry bulk tankers. We also service general freight semi-trailers.
Our goal is to make it is easy as possible to service and repair tankers with ATE.
The service will first be scheduled by a Service Advisor with an agreed scope of works.
When the tanker arrives ATE technicians complete an risk assessment and inspection to confirm the scope of works.
Works then commence with technicians following ATE’S service procedures which have been developed referencing NHVR, Australian Standards and regulatory authority requirements. Records are taken throughout the service including technician notes and photos where required.
During the service the technician may identify repairs. Our Service Advisor will communicate with the customer throughout the service to authorise additional repairs and provide schedule updates.
When the service and repairs are complete the Service Advisor will confirm the pick-up time and issue documentation of completed works.
ATE services prime movers.
ATE employs diesel mechanics who perform prime mover servicing. This includes diagnostic scan tool checks, fault code identification and fault code clearing.
ATE’s major service and repair centre is located in Melbourne.
ATE has a national network of authorised service and repair agents across Australia. ATE will manage these agents to ensure all works meet ATE standards.
AS2809 Dangerous Goods mandates 3-monthly checks
AS2809 Dangerous Goods mandates a comprehensive inspection to be carried out every 3-months with additional 5-year inspections for hydrostatic testing, internal tank inspection and a corrosion inspection for bitumen tankers.
ATE’s service program completes all items required in the 3-monthly checks. We also perform 5-year inspections and testing upon request.
The Safe Load Program (SLP) is an industry-led safety and compliance initiative for the petroleum and chemical transport sectors.
SLP compliance is required to access fuel terminals across Australia. Tankers must complete a Pass-2-Load inspection every 6-months to confirm the equipment meets Australian Standards, the Australian Dangerous Goods (AGD) code and SLP reference documents.
ATE are an Authorised Inspection Location (ALI) and can complete Pass-2-Load inspections. We proactively work with fleet managers to complete SLPs and can perform SLPs with a mobile service.
ATE provides compliance documentation for Safe Load Pass and degassing.
Service tasks and documentation comply with NHVR, Australian Standards and regulatory authority requirements.
